Yes. Yes they are. Next question.
Restrictions will inevitably vary from course to course slightly, but our goal is to group them into 3 main levels. Courses that are free, courses that cost $10 at time of play, and courses that cost $20 at time of play.
The times in which we are able to play these courses may vary slightly, but they will be clearly labeled on our site.
We do have two constant restrictions. The first is that we do not allow members to play before 12pm on Sat and Sunday. You can play at those times, just not with your GGC membership (you will pay a standard greens fee). Secondly, we do not allow you to use your GGC membership for league/tournament play at the courses we partner with.
Our goal is to be an asset to the courses in our network. Early weekend tee times and leagues are great sources of revenue for our courses, and we do not want to take that from them. Other than that, play all you want.
Anyone is welcome to join you. You need to make a tee time just like any other person for the amount of players you will have in your group. If the people joining you are not members of the GGC, they will be required to pay that days standard greens fee rates.
Yes. Monthly memberships require a minimum 6 month commitment. We need to maintain an a consistent membership base to benefit our business model and our courses, so having longer committed members is the best way for us to do that. Cancellation requires a written cancellation request (email is fine) and 30 days notice. So, if you cancel within 30 days of your next billing cycle you will be charged for the next month, and your membership will expire at the end of that billing cycle. Pretty standard stuff here. GGC Members make tee times just like anyone else by calling the pro shop or making them online. When you arrive to the course you must have your drivers license with you. The golf course will check you in and take care of you. That’s it.
Your membership should be reflected in the database immediately after signing up. So that means you could sign up on your phone at the course and be ready to play in just a couple minutes.
We are actively pursuing courses to add to the GGC network, ideally we would operate in a network of six to ten courses. Adding courses will not change the price of your membership. If you have any connections with golf courses, or want to chat about potential locations feel free to send an email to info@gimmegolfclub.com.
